Berkeley Energy is a subsidiary company owned by Ghummans Group. It participates in various industries worldwide and recently became involved in the oil and gas market.
The company has recently offered its services to build an oil refinery in Pakistan that will be capable of processing 50,000 barrels of oil per day (bbl/d).
Berkeley Energy is confident that the specification of oil recovered by the facility will be used to produce the highest quality of products.
A broad scope of work will be involved in this project, which will include, but shall not be limited to:
Developing, designing, engineering and procuring materials and equipment to be used in constructing, commissioning, insuring, operating and maintaining the refinery. This will be an ongoing focus to ensure efficient and productive activities for refining oil.
Taking responsibility for acquiring necessary approvals from relevant authorities and meeting guidelines for operational planning (GOP) of the oil refinery process and works being undertaken.
Ensuring adequate Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) regulations and systems are in place, to ensure the health and safety of employees and others who may be affected by the company’s activities.
As plans for the oil refinery project are further developed, Berkeley Energy will provide more technical details about its proposed technology for maximum recovery of oil products. This will cover technical aspects, emissions control, and comparisons to similar projects.
Throughout the construction phase of the project, Berkeley Energy shall submit fortnightly progress reports detailing the progress achieved in the preceding two weeks.
